We have developed quite a repertoire of cakes during the time that we have been open. Including offering more gluten free, dairy free and vegan cakes. Although some of our recipes don't go to plan we are always happy to try out new recipes to see how they go down with our customers. We have however got some very popular cakes that our customers can't seem to get enough of, and can be disappointed when they're not on the counter. So here goes with our count down of our top 10 Bread and Butterflies cakes!

| This one is the vegan apple and cinnamon cake with a topping of sugar. It is made with olive oil and is so moist and delicious with chunks of apple running through the sponge. A definite number one for us! (Linsey and I are both vegan). People are always amazed that vegan cake can taste so good. |  |

| The Hummingbird Cake. A lot of people are new to this cake. It is made with banana, pineapple and pecan nuts and is a super moist cake with a cream cheese frosting. Whoever tries this cake for the first time at Bread and Butterflies, we can guarantee it won't be the last. |  |

| This is our vegan chocolate fudge cake. We make our vegan chocolate ganache with dairy free dark chocolate and coconut cream. This cake is delicious and a favourite of ours. Even the non vegans love this cake! |  |

| A simple cake this one. The Bakewell cake. A sponge base filled with raspberry jam and a frangipane top and drizzled with icing. Sometimes the simple ones are delicious. Always a quick seller and not too sweet. |  |

| Our scones are light and delicious! Either a plain scone, or a fruit scone they are enjoyed best with a pot of tea and clotted cream and jam. Our scones are also vegan and are great with just dairy free spread and jam. Ask us if you need a gluten free scone; they're also pretty good, even if we do say so ourselves! |  |

| We call this one The French Fancy cake. One for those with a sweet tooth. Made with a light chiffon sponge that melts in the mouth. Filled with raspberry jam and covered with lashings of white chocolate ganache and piled high with French Fancies. Cake on cake, where could one go wrong! |  |

| The classic Victoria Sponge! We make ours with a Fresh cream and strawberry jam filling. This cake only deserves the best! Always a favourite on the counter and we even do a gluten free version and a vegan option filled with whipped coconut cream so everyone can enjoy. |  |

| The classic Carrot Cake. Ours is moist and delicious and sells super quick. Not too sweet we make a cream cheese frosting to cover the cake. No sultanas in ours, allowing the carrots to take centre stage. This one receives plenty of mentions on our Facebook feed and in the comment book in the tearoom. |  |
