What a great evening! We had a super turn out and lots of positive feedback from those who attended. We covered the rules of drawing portraits, ensuring the head is divided properly to get proper placement of features, and the work that our amateurs produced was extremely impressive; there are a lot of very talented artists in Lady Bay! The group have received homework to complete before next month's session which will run on the first Tuesday in May. Three of the attendees signed up for the next 5 sessions to learn more about tone, other media and sculpture. We're hoping many more of them will want to come along to the other sessions, but do pop in if you'd like to sign up! Places are limited so get in quick if you'd like to produce some fantastic art! This looks like a great activity. I wonder if you and your participants would be at all interested in hosting and taking part in different types of art / craft workshops? I run a shop in Sneinton Market and am a glass jeweller by trade. I would be keen on holding some sort of group making session in your venue. If this is of interest please contact me on the supplied email address. I look forward to hearing from you.
